Change for change

community meal

Change for Change is a monthly collection for various groups in need.


Community meal is every other month on the second Tuesday we provide a hot meal for about 75 people to help meet hunger needs in our community.  People can sign up in the South Entryway to bring food, transport food, or serve food at the meal.  Located at North Pointe UMC.

Saturday sack lunch

Help prepare sandwiches and lunches to those in need.  Sign-up sheet in the South Entryway.



  • food pantry

    We are the second largest donator for a local food pantry.  Donations can be dropped off in the entryways and volunteers can transport food and work the pantry during the week. 

  • community meal

  • GREETER OR WELCOMER

    When: Sunday Morning Worship - 10:00 am

    Collect information cards at the Welcome Center, greet guests at the doors, talk with and show them around the church and introduce them to others. 

  • AUDIO/VISUAL MINISTRY

    When: Sunday Morning Worship - 10:00 am

    We are looking to train a team of people who would be able to run the sound system during worship. You do not have to attend both worship services to be trained.


  • ADULT LEADERSHIP TEAM FOR  youth group

    When: Sundays from 12- 1:30 pm (September-May)

    Youth Group (Grades 6-12) needs extra helpers for our Wednesday group or special youth events.

  • ADULT GROUP LEADERS & FACILITATORS NEEDED

    When: Wednesday nights from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and other times during the week.

    Leaders needed for short term small groups. Materials would be provided for a variety of groups, marriage, finances, parenting, spiritual practices, book and Bible studies.

  • SHUT-IN VISITATION GROUP

    Help us reach out to extend the church's presence and God's love to those who are unable to get to church.

  • MUSIC TALENTS

    Want to share your vocal and/or instrumental abilities with God and the congregation? Call the church office and we will connect you with our music director to set up a time for you to share your talents with us for God's glory.

  • COMMUNION STEWARD

    Looking for a team of people to take turns in preparing the communion elements on the first Sunday of each month. Willing to provide instruction for communion preparation.

  • LITURGIST

    When: 10:00 a.m. Worship Service

    Sign up to be on a rotating list of those who help lead in worship by proclaiming the Scriptures during worship services. All text readings will be sent to you ahead of time so you can practice.

  • USHERS

    When: 10:00 a.m. Worship Service

    Join a rotating group to help one Sunday a month to welcome people into the sanctuary for worship, distribute bulletins, light candles, pass offering plates anticipate worshipers' needs, ect.

  • CHURCH VAN DRIVER

    Looking for members to help pick up people who are unable to drive to church. Valid driver's license required. Will provide the church van for transportation use.
